These are the things that might have tripped you up:

1. The Scottish accent! Even I sometimes have difficulty with this accent.

2. The connected d in And don’t, which makes it sound like an don’t.

3. The pronunciation of the word reject. As an American, I would pronounce this as ruh JEKT (instead of ree JEKT), but both pronunciations are valid.

4. The dropped th + connection in use them, which sounds like use em.

5. The connected t in next time, which sounds like neks taim
