These are the things that might have tripped you up:
The dropped/connected I at the start of the sentence, which might sound like abeleev or just beleev
The pronunciation of substantial, which changes the ti sound to ch. This tripped up one of my current students in class and prompted this post.
The reduction of the function words in the, which are pronounced low and short
The reduction and connection in the phrase 4 to 6, which sounds like forta six
